Custom

The cost for a custom designed wedding invitation varies based on the following items: quantity, printing style(s), paper selection and any extras. Our completely custom invitation starts at $1300 for 100 invitations and includes a single flat wedding invitation, RSVP card with matching RSVP envelope, additional insert, and matching mailing envelope.

Semi Custom

We also offer semi-custom designed invitations if you are interested in something that costs a little less. You still are able to customize the colors, fonts, and wording. Our semi-custom wedding invitations are at a lower price point. This package includes a single flat wedding invitation with a matching envelope.

Our work is custom-designed to suit our clients’ needs, and so is our wedding stationery pricing. We work with each client one-on-one to produce stationery that reflects their personal style and special event. We offer both completely custom and semi-custom designed wedding invitations.

About Me

I'm Iulia, the artist and graphic designer behind Designs by Iulia. With a formal background in architecture and years of experience with design, I've found a great appreciation for every detail that goes into creating paper products. I fell in love with the world of invitation design while planning my own wedding. As a huge Disney lover, I wanted my invitations to be magical and fairytale-esque but had a challenging time finding an affordable invitation designer that could make my dream design come to life so I decided to make the invitations myself. I had so much fun in the process that I became obsessed with creating invitations and realized that I could use my passion to help people have the wedding invitations of their dreams!

Let's Get In Touch

Whether you’re dreaming of custom wedding stationary or a semi-custom piece, every stationery process start the same way – by getting in touch. One of my favorite parts of this process is getting to know you and learning about your happily ever after! If you would like to work together, my Contact page is the best place to start.

01.

Your Complimentary Consultation

Our virtual meeting allows me to learn all of the details about your wedding! During your session, which ideally occurs 6-8 months before your event’s date, I’ll be eager to hear about your ideal day from your style and venue, to your favorite pieces of inspiration and palettes you can’t stop thinking about. Your consult is also the ideal time to chat through stationery details. I’ll happily explain paper types and printing styles as well as stationery shapes, patterns, color, wording, costs, timelines, and more.

Your Proposal

The key to a great consultation is for me to learn as much as possible about you and your love, in order to create a proposal to match your unique wedding day vision beautifully. While working on your proposal, I’ll make suggestions for the best printing styles, paper types, and customized details to match your ideal budget. Plus, your guest count and timeline will be at the forefront of my mind, and your proposal will also reflect whether we feel semi-custom or custom stationery will work best for your event. Once it’s prepped and ready to go a few days after your consultation, I’ll send your proposal over with a detailed explanation via email.

Finalized Contract

Once you receive your proposal, I encourage you to look over every detail and suggestion carefully. I’m happy to make adjustments and edits where we mutually see fit. Once we’re all on the same page, I kindly ask you to sign your contract and submit your 50% deposit.

Design Time

The design process usually occurs over a 3 to 4 week time period during which I will be in regular contact with you to share updates, answer (and sometimes ask!) questions, and ensure my vision is closely tied with what you have in mind for your semi-custom or custom pieces. Once your designs are complete, I’ll send over the options for you to review. The colors, paper, and printing processes will also be detailed so you have a complete view of how your pieces will come to life!

Finalized Contract

Once you receive your proposal, I encourage you to look over every detail and suggestion carefully. I’m happy to make adjustments and edits where we mutually see fit. Once we’re all on the same page, I kindly ask you to sign your contract and submit your 50% deposit.

06.

Proof

Whether I’m designing save the dates or day of stationery, the most important part of your process is proofing. I consult all of the information you have provided regarding names, dates, and locations, but I’ll also rely on you to offer your final approval. That’s why I strongly encourage you to review wording for accuracy regarding spelling, times, and everything in between. I’m happy to include up to three rounds of revisions to make sure your wedding stationery is just right! Once proofed, I will ask you to submit the remainder of your balance in order to move onto step 7 – printing!

Mail Day

It’s time! Your beautiful custom wedding invitations will be carefully packaged and shipped to you! The day your stationery is delivered!is always so thrilling!

Time To Print

Depending on the type of printing and assembly options you may have chosen, your invitation can take anywhere from 3-5 weeks until it is completed. Digital printing normally takes less time while the specialty printing processes take longer. I will give you the appropriate timing on your timeline. Additionally, let’s talk about your post-printing plans! Would you like to host an assembly party with your closest friends, or would you prefer that I assemble your suite for you*? Either option works well, but you will need to make a decision regarding your assembly before your suite goes to print.
